# Overview

> What the Unified Transaction API is, what it simplifies, how a payout flows end to end, and what to set up before you integrate.

The Unified Transaction API lets you pay out stablecoin from your pool wallet to a beneficiary's Indian bank account in INR with a single request. You send the sender, the beneficiary and the bank account together, and Saber handles the rest.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Both USDT and USDC are supported as the source currency.

## What it solves

Sending a payout normally means setting up each party and their bank account before the transaction itself. With the Unified Transaction API, one call replaces that groundwork:

* **One request, not several.** Sender, beneficiary, bank account and transaction details travel together. You do not call separate Create User, KYC or Bank Account Linkage endpoints.
* **No sender management.** Saber resolves or creates the sender for you. You do not create senders, store sender IDs or maintain sender-to-beneficiary mappings.
* **First-party and third-party payouts.** The sender and the beneficiary can be the same person or different people. The relationship is captured on each transaction, so one sender can pay many beneficiaries and one beneficiary can receive from many senders.
* **Status you can track.** Each stage — sender KYC, beneficiary KYC, bank account verification and payout — is reported as a transaction status, by webhook and by polling.

## How it works

```mermaid theme={null}
sequenceDiagram
    participant C as Your system
    participant S as Saber
    participant B as Beneficiary's bank
    C->>S: Create payout (sender, beneficiary, bank account)
    S-->>C: 201 Created, status CREATED
    S->>S: Resolve and screen sender
    S-->>C: Webhook: SENDER_KYC_VERIFIED
    S->>S: Resolve and screen beneficiary
    S-->>C: Webhook: BENEFICIARY_KYC_VERIFIED
    S->>S: Verify bank account
    S-->>C: Webhook: BENEFICIARY_INSTRUMENT_VERIFIED
    S->>B: Pay out INR
    S-->>C: Webhook: COMPLETED (INR amount, rate, bank reference)
```

The create call returns immediately. Everything after that runs asynchronously, so your integration listens for webhooks and reads the authoritative state with a status request when needed.

## What is supported

| Item | Value |
| - | - |
| Source currency | USDT or USDC, debited from your pool wallet |
| Payout currency | INR |
| Payout destination | Indian bank account (`SAVINGS` , `NRE/NRO` or `CURRENT`), identified by penny drop |
| Payment method | `bank_transfer` |

## Endpoints

| Action | Endpoint |
| - | - |
| Create a payout | `POST /api/v2/wallet/transaction/unified/pool/sell` |
| Get one transaction | `GET /api/v2/wallet/transaction/unified/{id}` |
| List transactions | `GET /api/v2/wallet/transaction/unified` |

## Before you integrate

**1. Fund your pool wallet**

Payouts are debited from your pool wallet, so keep it funded before creating transactions. See [Pool Account Overview](https://guides.saber.money/client/pool-account/overview.md).

**2. Get your API keys**

Generate your API key and secret from the dashboard. See [Developer Section](https://guides.saber.money/client/dashboard/developers.md) and [API Authentication](https://guides.saber.money/getting-started/auth.md).

**3. Configure webhooks**

Add your callback URL and webhook credentials to receive status updates. See [Webhook Configuration](https://guides.saber.money/client/dashboard/webhooks.md).
