A Pool Account is a merchant-level stablecoin wallet held with Saber, separate from any individual user’s wallet. It acts as a shared liquidity source (or destination) that your transactions can draw from or settle into, instead of every transaction being tied to a single user’s own wallet.

Purpose

Pool Accounts exist to simplify liquidity management at scale:

Sell side (Offramp)

Instead of pre-funding each individual user’s wallet with crypto before every payout, a Pool Sell transaction deducts stablecoin directly from your Pool Account balance and pays the user out in fiat.

Buy side (Onramp)

Instead of sending every converted stablecoin amount to an external wallet, a Pool Buy transaction deposits the converted stablecoin into your Pool Account, where it accumulates as usable liquidity.

Across flows

A single Pool Account can fund offramp payouts and receive onramp proceeds, letting you net fiat collected on one side against fiat paid out on the other, settling the difference in stablecoin rather than moving fiat directly.
A Pool Account is provisioned per merchant on request — reach out to your Saber account contact to have one set up.
