For merchants running Pool Sell transactions, offramp payouts draw directly from your Pool Account balance. This page covers how that balance moves and how to manage it.

How balance is deducted

Each time a Pool Sell transaction is created, the equivalent stablecoin amount for that payout is deducted from your Pool Account balance immediately, and the fiat leg is settled to the user’s bank account in the same step. If the Pool Account doesn’t have sufficient balance to cover a payout, the transaction will fail — keeping the Pool Account topped up is necessary for Pool Sell to keep working.

Checking balance

Check this before initiating high-value payouts, or on a regular schedule, to make sure the Pool Account can cover expected offramp volume.
